At the end of the training we now know that one school has officially signed on as a pilot school for the program starting Monday, one more offically wants to as well, and everyone involved is fully interested in continuing the project in the future. At the end of the workshop representative students and teachers from each participating school. One girl, Louwana, asked Mr. Leif to come up and accept the thank you card from her school. The Ministry of Education gave each of us a batique and a place-mat with a beautiful picture of a sunset/rise here and a map of St. Kitts and Nevis. The camera crew from ZIZ (read "zed eye zed") showed up and interviewed from of the students and school officials.

We went to the beach again. It was cloudy but no less enjoyable.

Later on Lloyd drove Philip, Daren, and I to the Ocean Terrace Inn where Keva was performing in a steel drum band. She is a counsellor at the high school that is piloting the moral education program. (Her name is pronounced like Kiva from El Paso who served at Green Acre - cool guy.) The concert was awesome! I love hearing the steel drum. My cousin Krispin made is own! Her sister's boyfriend drove us to Pizza Lovers, at our request, and to a place that sells barbecue chicken, by her recommendation. Both were exceptional. I believe we will be working with the new curriculum in her school on Monday. So she offered to teach us some steel drum then. I can't wait!
