This morning I found this:

To me this means that the responsibility to stop the world's increasingly intense and disasters rests with those who recognise the above quotation. These are who realise the necessity to pray for God "not to deprive mankind of the ocean of true understanding."

First was the Convent School. We took a whole period explaining our program. It seems as though they liked the Virtues Project but were not biting on "Breezes of Confirmation." They were rather content with their own system, which I can understand since it is a Catholic School that might have curriculum standards that trace to the Vatican. Next was Verchilds High School, the newest of the island's high schools. Their principle and guidance counsellors were excited to start the project. They accept that it might not be feasible until next semester or next year because our teams resources are limited, but are already implementing the knowledge gained from the virtues training. Daren and Doreen went home to Trinidad this afternoon.

The rest of the day was rather relaxed again. Pat, a guidance counsellor at Cayon and liaison to the NYA, spent the afternoon at the Centre consulting the project details. Michael, along with Cristina, prepared his last supper on the island. He will be leaving tomorrow for St. Lucia. I must commend him for his sense of responsibility. He realised that he is no longer needed in St. Kitts, so he is returning to his post three days early. Sharil gave a lesson to the team on class room management skills. It was in Q & A format. We learned some tactics for balancing authority and fun, commanding attention, and dealing with distractions, as well as general tips about the attitude a teacher should have.

Right as Philip was setting up his cot, the man who visited before to discuss the Faith (and ask for some money for bus fare) appeared outside the window. He asked for a piece of paper, which we provided, and continued to comment about how he liked the prayer book we had gave to him at his first visit. Thankfully, as he was asking for some food, Lynda came downstairs and was firm with setting the boundary that it is not appropriate for him to visit late at night like this. Bedtime...
